You may remember Xerox did not own Bldg. 845, but leased it from an outside company. After

we vacated the premises in 2007, the owner had a disagreement with the Town of Webster over
taxes, and defaulted on their payments. Thus the building was left unattended for several
years and fell into disrepair. In 2014 the owner started cleaning it out hoping to put it
back on the market. However nothing came of it, and Bldg. 845 was eventually taken over by
Monroe County who put it on the auction block in March, 2017. It was then sold to Yaro
Enterprises Inc. of Rochester who started remodeling it. What you see today is about as
far as they are going, and the building is now in the hands of CBRE/Rochester, a commercial
properties brokerage firm who has it listed for sale or lease. Any future improvements,
inside or out, will be done through arrangements between them and any future buyers/leasers.

Even though the outside seems to be shaping up nicely, the inside of the building still
needs a lot of work to be habitable. The restrooms are particularly rough.
