The Hemelgarn Racing Team visits Xerox Webster!

The Hemelgarn Racing Team has been enormously successful on the IRL (Indy Racing League) circuit. Grateful to it's many sponsors, the team takes time between races to transport it's cars, crew, and equipment to sponsor's locations throughout the country. This year it was Xerox' turn.

On August 19 1997, driver Buddy Lazier, winner of the 1996 Indy 500, signed autographs for his fans at Webster and Xerox Square. Racing enthusiasts from Xerox posed with Buddy and had souvenir digital photos taken. The photos were then merged and printed on a digital copier using the Xerox UFO ColorFlare.

Here is a collection of photos taken in Webster during Buddy's visit. Click on the small photos at left for enlarged views. Photos open in a new window.
